Martha Grover’s Helpful Hints for Dealing with Stress

1.Don’t be afraid to get wasted.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to use alcohol to deal with your problems, on the other hand, I don’t see anything wrong with getting totally smashed occasionally in order to deal with a crisis situation. As long as you don’t make it a habit- I see nothing wrong with drunkenness as a coping mechanism.

2. Get plenty of sleep and eat right. This may seem obvious but when you treat your body poorly by eating crap and not getting enough sleep you’re way more susceptible to stress- you’re grouchy and tired and probably not very fun to be around.
